Counts, never names

People appear only as counts. A count below three is never shown (k-anonymity of 3 or more). Home Signals follow the same rule.

Presence checked on the server

You can join a Moment only when you are physically there. The check happens on our server, not in your phone.

Rounded location

Coordinates are rounded to roughly 100 metres before any map or weather service sees them.

No location history

Noor does not store where you have been. Moment messages expire after a few hours.

Employers see numbers only

For Arrival packs, an employer sees how many codes were redeemed, never by whom.

Data processors

Noor names every service that handles data, and what it receives:

• Supabase — accounts, saved places, Moments; hosted database.
• Google Places — place details and photos; receives a rounded location.
• Mapbox — maps and the walking ring; receives a rounded location.
• OpenWeather — city-wide weather for the Pulse; receives no personal data.
• Anthropic — phrases the city story and answers AI search; receives the question and public place facts, never your identity.

Rounded means about 100 metres. Data leaves the UAE for these services; this is stated plainly here and in the app.
